Types of Building Fasteners

Some selection considerations for Building Fasteners

1. Choose the right nut: thicker nuts and more threads will not improve the reliability of the connector. On the contrary, the thicker the nut, the more uneven the load distribution between the threads, and the Building Fasteners are more likely to loosen.

2. Choose the preload according to the occasion: too much tightening force will cause the bolt to slip, and too little tightening force will cause the bolt to loosen.

3. Choose the right washer: a washer with too large an inner diameter will reduce the contact area with the bolt head, reduce the bearing capacity and locking force of the washer, especially in a vibrating and impacting working environment, the thread is more likely to loosen.

4. Clean the Building Fasteners and the working environment before use: Check whether there are rust, burrs, iron filings and other impurities on the Building Fasteners, and whether there are sand, scale and other impurities on the surface of the connector. Clean them in time to avoid bolt quality problems or loosening.
